March is coming. Warm weather. Rain Storms. All the things I like. The winter has been particularly brutal for me and so has the intense amount of work I’ve taken on. A lot of which places me on my butt in front of a computer. Long story short, I’m out of shape.
As a kid I sucked at running. As an adult, I experience similar success as when I was a kid. But for the next 31 days I will be running. Every day.
I’m probably going to die. But I’ve got help.
Nike has created this wonderful app for my phone. It’s simply called “Running” and it is going to keep track of my routes, distances, times, etc. It also has a feature called “Coach” which can help train towards 5ks, 10ks, and marathons. The apps allows me to share the routes via Facebook and Twitter. Starting March 1st. I will be… Running… ug.

Tapastic is a growing site for the creation and distribution of “Visual Stories” Primarily this comes in the form of welcomes or visual novels. The site and apps offer and easy way to browser and explore new comics and stories created by anyone. They’ve also recently added the ability to embed sounds from SoundCloud. This allows for a greater depth of immersion in the traditionally visual stories.
This site offers a massive collection of art from artists all over the world. You can find everything from amateurs to professionals.
